Behind the Lens
Hello, I am Seattle-based photographer specializing in underwater photography.
I have spent my life trying to combine my passion of photography with my love of the ocean. Getting scuba certified in 2011, while studying for my BFA in photography, I started developing my underwater portfolio in Hawaii filming manta rays. With a strong desire to continue my dive training, I worked my way up to dive instructor quickly.
Returning to school in 2018, I completed a Master’s degree in marine conservation at the University of Aberdeen in Scotland. Soon after, my husband and I moved to Seattle, WA to explore the beauty of the Pacific Northwest.
My images have been published in Costa Rica Blue: The Underwater Guide. I have also worked with dive resorts providing visual content for their websites and social media.
When I am not editing photos or blowing bubbles underwater, I enjoy birdwatching, kayaking and coastal walks along the Puget Sound.
